I'm Julie Chabin, a French product designer, builder, and writer. I've spent over 15 years in tech, most notably leading Product Design at Product Hunt from 2015 to 2023. Along the way I worked at AngelList, Deezer, and other product-focused teams where I learned how to ship fast, think systemically, and keep things simple. I like working close to the product surface. I prototype directly in code, build design systems, and explore how software shapes attention, behavior, and decision-making. Design, for me, is how a product communicates, how it feels, how it earns attention. I don't care about silos, the goal is to ship something real that brings results.
