I run Blue Cyclops, a one-person brand studio in Atlanta working mostly with B2B and SaaS companies. Twenty years in. Started at agencies, spent time at Focus Lab, then built and ran a team of five for a while. A few years ago I took it back down to just me, which was the best decision I've made about this work. The output got better the moment I stopped managing people and went back to making things. These days that means four-week brand sprints. Fixed scope, fixed price, one person doing the thinking and the making. No account layer, no handoff between strategy and design, no committee. I've branded six Bitcoin companies including Unchained Capital, plus SaaS platforms across observability, workforce analytics and compliance. Identity, naming, messaging, and the guidelines that make any of it usable once I'm gone. Most of what I post here is brand identity work. Occasionally the parts that didn't make it.
