About
I'm a Design Technologist working where product design meets front-end. For 10+ years I've designed digital products and brands, and today I take ideas from Figma to production with Next.js, React and Tailwind, using AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and Codex to move faster without losing craft. Since 2020 I've been Staff Product Designer, AI & Digital Experiences at SmartPlant. With my partner Ash I co-founded The App Chefs, a digital product agency, and I also founded Talexa, a tech recruiting company connecting Mexican professionals with international opportunities. I started out teaching UX/UI at the university level, and community has stayed close to my heart: I founded the WordPress Guadalajara community and led the first WordCamp Guadalajara. When I'm not designing, you'll probably find me at Alere Café, my specialty coffee and coworking space in Guadalajara. I care about thoughtful interfaces, design systems that scale, and helping Latin American talent and businesses compete globally.
