Brand identity, product design, and the front-end code to ship it. I direct AI like a creative department and keep the judgment human.
jeremymansfield.comMy background is in design and my instinct is in building, so I tend to take work further down the chain than most creative directors do. Brand architecture and verbal identity through UI, design systems, and the HTML and CSS that puts it in front of people. Less handoff, less lost in translation. These days I direct AI the way I'd direct a studio. I write the brief, set the standard, and run it through concepting, copy, design iteration, and production code. It means an idea gets from conversation to something testable fast. What it doesn't change is who decides what's worth making. That part stays mine. I've worked with Home Depot, Johnston & Murphy, TRASK, Thomasville Furniture, The Ernest Hemingway Collection, and The Brain Trauma Foundation, plus a run of startups. At SmileDirectClub I led UI/UX for patient and provider platforms. Now I lead brand and product design at Futures, building platforms that connect students and veterans to careers.
