I've spent two decades designing for startups. Over a decade as the founding designer & head of design at Teamwork.com, where I worked on everything - zero-to-one products, mobile apps, websites, brand, and the design system. I was there from the early-stage days to a 350+ person enterprise. Being a founding designer means wearing every hat - product UX, marketing, brand, sometimes the copy. I learned what good design actually does for a business: not how it looks, but how it converts, retains, and scales. A few years ago I started UI Flip to bring that same work to founders who aren't ready to hire it in-house. No account manager in between, no junior on the project. Just me.
